Windows disk Protection which ensures that the condition of the system partition (”C:”) after the installation actually one freezes. Thus are optimally protected the operating system as well as all programs and configurations. The technical concept behind it is comparatively simple. All write accesses on the system partition are intercepted and led into a separate file on the non removable disk. Unnoticed by the user the system with a sum of this file and the normal partition C works: - a system start deletes this auxiliary file and represents thereby the system in such a way, as it was configured originally. For installations, update (e.g. Windows update) and configurations there is a special mode, which makes also later durable changes possible. Importantly it is natural with the fact that all own documents, e.g. texts, diagrams etc. on a further partition (D:) are stored, otherwise also these data were destroyed with each Reboot.
