Intel plans to appeal against EU fine

EU has fined Intel for one billion Euro which is a record fine in such cases. Intel was fined due to illegal rebates and payments to manufacturers and retailers in order to persuade them for usage of intel in their products. Intel has decided to appeal against this decision by the court.

 EU is considering as serious violation of the EU’s antitrust rules cannot be tolerated.  The commissions which offered by Intel prevent any competition.  Intel was also accused of bribing manufacturers to cancel or hold off launches of computers featuring competitors’ CPUs.

This huge amount really disturb the management of Intel and they do not have any other choice than appealing agianst this big blow.
