A new technolgy in Iphone security application started now. The application is from Verisign a global leader in security applications. The application is VIP access for mobile. It works like token issued, each time one login to the system the a password is issued by which only one can enter into system. The common example is HSBC security device where 6 digits appear on the device and after matching with password the six digits should match too.

The primary benefit is convenience since people tend to carry their phones with them, says Ken Silva, senior vice president and chief technology officer at VeriSign. Companies that want to let workers use their iPhones instead of tokens will need to work with VeriSign to connect their authentication systems to VeriSign’s Identity Protection Network.

The Iphone app also can help you in identify theft in conjunction with the network websites like paypal, Geico and AOL.
