OPEN Information Systems Security Group is holding a week-long professional information security training in Doha Qatar from January 9  to january 15.
The training takes place at Movenpick Hotel and Suites near  Sheraton hotel Doha.
The professional trainings will be facilitated by OISSG’s information security experts “who constantly get highly rated reviews from attendees”, an official said.
“OISSG Professional Information Security Trainings are cutting edge and intensive trainings directly applicable to the client organisation’s information security needs as well as provide attendees with a platform to improve and enhance their overall information security skill set”, the official said.
The training will cover CISSP Bootcamp and Computer Crime Investigation. At the Bootcamp, participants can competently identify and handle security threats; gain credentials as a leading security professional for current and future employment and thoroughly understand the 10 essential core domains of the CISSP Common Body of Knowledge, the official said.
At the computer crime investigation, attendees can learn a process and methodology for computer forensics that can be applied at any level; get exposed to the challenging world of “live” forensics and analyse advanced hacker attacks against web applications, he said. The course will be covered in six days.
According to him, the course is ideal for anyone who is keen to learn the process of computer forensics, and has an IT background, system administrators, network architects, firewall engineers, and security testers.
The course is an extension of “hacking” courses by leveraging that knowledge to recover the evidence from hacking and attacks. The delegates will be given a significant amount of tools and resources to further their research at their discretion, the official said.
