Phil Reitinger appointed as new cybersecurity head
The homeland security of USA has appointed a new cybersecurity head. Phil Reitinger has chosen as deputy undersecretary of the National Protection and Programs Directorate. Phil will monitor the computer networks of federal government for security purpose.
Phil has lot of experience of managing cybersecurity and his role will be considered as key in managing the cyber infrastructure and bringing innovation in combatting cyber threats.
He has also served as the Department of Defense’s executive director of the cybercrime center and he was deputy chief of the Department of Justice’s computer crime and intellectual property division. Reitinger has a law degree from Yale Law School and a bachelor’s in electrical engineering and computer science from Vanderbilt University.
Phil is an expert in cybersecurity and he will develop good relations with private and govt organizations.
